Boots shoppers ‘notice difference in complexion’ after just days of using £10 product

Taking care of the skin requires consistency, effort and investing in the right products to build into a routine.

Although repeat-buying skincare is a commitment, there are ways to cut costs when topping up on favourites.

Boots’ £10 Tuesday event is becoming a much-loved weekly fixture for beauty fans, with a weekly selection of beauty, skincare and haircare reduced to £10.

This week, a facial skincare product from premium brand Super Facialist has been reduced from £17.

Buy: Vitamin C+ Glow Boost Skin Serum (£10)

The serum helps with anti-ageing, containing a pro-collagen formula to help plump and hydrate the skin.

Vitamin C is known for its brightening properties, and the product contains a concentrated amount of the powerful ingredient, combined with hyaluronic acid for radiance and a youthful, supple feel.

Boots shoppers are saying the supercharged serum gave them ‘an instant healthy look’.

Jade said: ”Great product I brought this to help with acne scarring around my mouth and it cleared them up within a couple of months as it lightens the skin. It also gave my fave an instant healthy look. I’ve been using for months now and I love it wouldn’t be without it.

Jackie said: ”Brilliant, smells lovely and skin feels great. Would definitely buy again.”

SDaws commented: ”This serum sinks into your skin almost immediately and leaves it feeling soft and fresh. You will notice the difference in your complexion after a few days. I just love it.”

TheClaud also added: ”Like the rest of the Superfacialist Vitamin C range the smell of this serum is divine. Really zesty it wakes you up when applying in the morning. It absorbs quickly and does hydrate my skin for the day, however, I don’t feel like it makes my skin much more radiant, nor does it give as much hydration as I’d like. If you want a light serum for the day this is perfect, but if your skin is on the dryer side then you might want something with a bit more oomph.”

Some reviews said they found they would prefer a thicker, richer serum for deeper hydration, and for super-dry skin it may be considering a moisturiser containing vitamin C, like the LANEIGE Radian-C cream.
