Buy This 800HP Ford Model A Because You Love Yourself

How much car can you buy for $80,000? In the new market that would get you a decent Porsche Boxster or C8 Corvette. Those are pretty impressive cars, to be sure, but neither have the presence or rip-your-face-off-ness of this StanceWorks-built Ford Model A hot rod. That’s right, you can buy this monster “truck” for $80,000 cash. It is unfathomably powered by a supercharged Ford Aluminator engine pushing 757 horsepower to the tires, it uses Mazda prototype race car center-lock wheels and sounds like a hellhound. There isn’t much original Model A left in this machine, but it is all the more cool because of it.

In preparation for an upcoming mega build that will likely eclipse even his widebody Honda K-series-powered Ferrari, Mike Burroughs is selling his beloved hot rod to make some room, and clear some budget. Eighty grand will take it home, and you’d be getting one hell of a bargain if you did.

All good things come to an end: My 757WHP Ford Hot Rod is for sale.

In this week’s StanceWorks video, Burroughs announced that the truck was officially for sale, saying, “All good things come to an end.” Isn’t that the damn truth?

This truck has been through a lot. Mike has crashed it on the street, blown the motor up, and completely re-fabricated a lot of the stuff that he built years ago. It’s been a bit of an evolving project over the last decade, but now he’s calling it done, like an artist putting the brush down and stepping away from his canvas. The truck as it sits is an impressive piece of machinery, and you absolutely couldn’t build it from scratch for the asking price.

I’m not the buyer for this thing, but damn I wish I could be. Maybe you are. Hit him up and give him the cash, you probably won’t regret it. At least until you fire it up and it blows out your eardrums.
