CBSE Class 10, 12 Supplementary Exams 2024 to be Conducted from July 15

CBSE Class 10, 12 Supplementary Exams 2024: The supplementary exams for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted from July 15, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) officials announced on Monday, as per a PTI report. Over 1.32 lakh candidates have been placed in the supplementary category or compartment in class 10, while the number of such candidates in class 12 is over 1.22 lakh.

Class 12 students will be allowed to improve their performance in one subject in the supplementary examination

Based on National Education Policy, 2020 recommendations, the CBSE had last year changed the nomenclature of the compartment examination to supplementary examination. As per the CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, class 12 students will be allowed to improve their performance in one subject in the supplementary examination and class 10 students will be allowed to improve their performance in two subjects in the supplementary examination.

“Three categories of students will be eligible to appear in the supplementary examinations — class 10 students who were unable to pass two subjects and class 12 students who were unable to pass one subject and were placed in compartment category; students who were declared pass by replacing sixth or seventh subject; and class 10 and 12 students who were declared pass but wish to improve their performance in two and one subject respectively,” Bhardwaj further added.

  1. Visit the Official CBSE Website: Open your web browser and visit the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at www.cbse.nic.in or www.cbseresults.nic.in.
  2. Navigate to the Results Section: Once on the CBSE website’s homepage, look for the “Results” section. Click on ‘Download CBSE 10th Result.’
  3. Enter Required Details: On the Class 10th result page, you will be prompted to enter certain details to access your results. Enter your CBSE Roll Number, School No, and Admit Card ID.
  4. Submit and View Results: After entering all the required details correctly, click on the “Submit” or “Get Results” button. Your CBSE Class 10th results 2024 will then be displayed on the screen.
  5. Print or Save Your Results: Once your results are displayed, you have the option to either print them out or save them for future reference.
