The launch of the new cookbook comes as a national survey reveals that 74 per cent of Aussie toddler parents admit they could do more to support their toddler’s nutritional intake.

In fact, only 19 per cent of Aussie parents feel very confident that they know the role of prebiotics in their toddler’s diet.

When asked what prevented them from serving a nutritious meal to their toddler, one in five toddler parents claimed to not have enough information and almost half attributed lack of creativity or inspiration in the kitchen as a factor.

Tommy’s experience cooking for young children means that each recipe in the new Alula Toddler Tummies Cookbook aims to inspire Aussie parents in the kitchen to create fun, flavoursome meals and snacks.

The celebrity chef’s recipes encourage a diet featuring prebiotics to boost the growth of the good bacteria in a toddler’s digestive system.

And recipes include a combination of prebiotic-rich foods and Alula Advance+ Toddler milk drink to incorporate prebiotics and eight immune-supporting vitamins and minerals into your toddlers’ meals.

Tommy explained that there is so much to think about when supporting a toddler’s nutritional intake that it can feel overwhelming when it comes to knowing how to prioritise digestive health.

“Including prebiotic-rich foods in their everyday diet can be a great way to support the growth of good bacteria and nurture their digestive well-being,” he said.

With just two serves of Alula Advance+ Toddler per day, the added prebiotic FOS promotes the growth of beneficial gut bacteria to support a toddler’s digestive system.

Alula Advance+ Toddler also provides a good source of eight immune-supporting vitamins and minerals.
