Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Jio has again come up with 4 new cheapest prepaid recharge plans for its users.

In June when various Telecom companies had increased their rates for recharge plans, there was a boycott call from users on various social media platforms. There were also reports of users porting to more affordable companies like BSNL.Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had also said that ‘’one lakh towers of 4G network will be installed by March 2025.”.

But now Reliance Jio, led by Mukesh Ambani, has introduced a variety of cheapest prepaid plans to attract its users. This move is also taken when Gautam Adani, another business tycoon, is planning to expand its business in various sectors including telecommunications.

Reliance Jio’s 4 Cheapest Recharge Plans

  1. Rs 199 Plan: 18-day validity with 1.5GB daily data (27GB total), unlimited calls, 100 daily SMS, and subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud.
  2. Rs 209 Plan: 22-day validity with 1GB daily data (22GB total), unlimited calls, 100 daily SMS, and access to Jio’s entertainment services.
  3. Rs 249 Plan: 28-day validity with 1GB daily data (28GB total), unlimited calls, 100 daily SMS, and access to Jio’s entertainment services.
  4. Rs 299 Plan: 28-day validity with 1.5GB daily data (42GB total), unlimited calls, 100 daily SMS, and access to Jio’s entertainment services.

To face the battle from already existing telcom player like Vodafone- Idea, Bharti Airtel & also new emerging player like BSNL. Government has already planned to user 5G on this 4G core for BSNL. ‘’We will have to make some changes in the towers for 5G services, and work on this is underway. We will soon complete the journey from 4G to 5G,” Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had said earlier.
