Delhi University ITEP Admission 2023: The University of Delhi, a premier institution, has invited applications from interested candidates to its Integrated Teacher Education Programme- ITEP. Women candidates who are interested in taking admission in ITEP must have appeared in the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2023 conducted by NTA. To apply for the University of Delhi, the candidate must register at http://itep.uod.ac.in using her NCET 2023 Application Number. Before registering, candidates must check the eligibility criteria carefully for the ITEP program. There are no additional eligibility criteria besides the ones stipulated by the University through its website & BOI (ITEP)-2023, published on the admission website of the UoD.

- The four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) envisions the creation of passionate, motivated, qualified, professionally trained, and well-equipped teachers capable of designing and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for students at different stages of school education. The ITEP seeks to ensure that prospective teachers are given the highest quality education in content, pedagogy, values, and practice.

Delhi University ITEP Admission 2023 Stage-Specific Specialization
The reconfiguration of the curricular and pedagogical structure of school education involving a (5 + 3 + 3 + 4) design as recommended by NEP 2020 makes it imperative that the ITEP makes available accomplished teachers with the knowledge, capacities, and values and dispositions required for developing and improving the practice of teaching at a particular Stage of school education, i.e. Foundational Stage, Preparatory Stage, Middle Stage, or Secondary Stage.
Delhi University ITEP Admission 2023: Check Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for the admission in Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP), as specified on page no.
12 of The Gazette of India: Extraordinary, Part III-Section 4- National Council for Teacher Education Notification, New Delhi, 26nd October, 2021:
- Candidates with minimum fifty percent marks in Senior Secondary or plus two examination or its equivalent from a recognized board are eligible for admission.
- The relaxation in percentage of marks in the Senior Secondary or plus two examination or its equivalent examination and in the reservation for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Class or Persons with Disabilities or Economically Weaker Section and any other categories. shall be as per the rules of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administration, wherever applicable.
- For applying to the ITEP program at the University of Delhi, the candidate must have appeared in the National
Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2023 conducted by NTA. - Only women candidates can apply for the programme for the year 2023-24 as both the colleges offering the programme are Women’s colleges of the University of Delhi.
Candidates who have appeared at the Class XII examination in the year 2023 and have been placed in compartment
(supplementary) will not be eligible for admission for the year 2023-24. The candidate must adhere to the stipulated timelines of all allocation and admission rounds.
