NEET UG 2024 Exam Reporting Time
As mentioned earlier, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the NEET UG 2024 Exam today, i.e. on May 5, 2024 across the world at 571 locations from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM. The time when the candidates must report has been specified on the NEET UG 2024 Admit Card but please note that in no circumstances will the candidates be allowed to enter after 1:30 PM. Therefore, it is advisable for candidates to leave home with a good margin, keeping in mind all kinds of possible hindrances including weather and traffic.
NEET UG 2024 Today: Items Prohibited In Examination Hall
The candidates appearing for the NEET UG 2024 Exam today, please take note of the things that you are NOT allowed to carry with you inside the examination hall. Also know, that in case you do carry such things, there will be no arrangements of keeping these items at the centre. The items prohibited inside the examination hall include…
- Communication devices including mobile phones, pager, health bands, earphones, microphones, Bluetooth etc.
- Any kind of watch or wristwatch, camera, bracelets, etc.
- Printed or handwritten textual material, paper pieces, geometry or pencil boxes, plastic pouch, calculator, pen ruler or eraser, log table, electronic pen or scanner, pen drives, writing pad, etc are not allowed.
- Wallets, sunglasses, belts, caps, hats, handbags, etc.
- Metallic items or any kind of ornaments.
- Open or packaged food or drinking items.
(NOTE: If you are wearing an object of customary or religious faith, you are expected to report at least two hours before the last reporting time so that proper frisking can be done; if a suspected item is carried with such an item of faith, candidate may be asked to not take it inside the examination hall)
NEET UG 2024 Dress Code
- Male Students: The t-shirt or shirt that you choose, must be of short sleeves.
- Male Students: Avoid clothing that has pockets, zippers and/or elaborate buttons.
- Male Students: Straightforward pants and shirts must be preferred.
- Male Students: Kurta pyjamas must be strictly avoided.
- Male Students: Do not complicate your clothes with layering, keep it simple.
- Male Students: Light slippers or sandals must be chosen; boots, shoes or any kind of covered footwear is not allowed.
- Female Students: Keep your outfit minimal and simple, avoid embroidery frills or layered clothes.
- Female Students: Shirts or kurtis worn must be of half sleeves.
- Female Students: Long or designer sleeve designs are prohibited and must not be worn.
- Female Students: Metallic or non-metallic – do not wear any kind of jewellery.
- Female Students: Open sandals or slippers must be your footwear; heels, stilettos, boots or similar fashionable footwear are not allowed.
NEET UG 2024 Exam Day Guidelines
- You can only carry a transparent water bottle
- A copy of the same photograph that you have uploaded on your application form must be taken with you; this second photo will be pasted on your attendance sheet.
- Carry your Admit Card along with a Self-Declaration Form; download the form from the NTA website on an A4 size sheet and fill the required areas correctly.
- If applicable, do not forget to carry your PwD Certificate and/or scribe-related documents.
- During the first hour and the last half an hour of the examination, you will NOT be allowed any bio-breaks (toilet breaks).
- At the entry gate, you will have to go through the process of biometric attendance and frisking.
- Along with entry, the same biometric attendance and frisking process will be repeated when you come back to the examination hall from a bio-break/toilet break.
