  • Candidates are demanding the Commission to revise results citing that fewer number of students qualified for the mains exam as compared to previous years. Aspirants have raised concerns, alleging that the commission invited fewer candidates for the increased number of vacancies.
  • If we go through the SSC CGL(Tier-I) result 2023 pdf, a total of 71,112 students qualified for the second exam – the Tier-II of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2023. Taking to X, several candidates have posted a comparative analysis of the number of qualified candidates over the years. They have raised concerns, asserting that for the SSC CGL tier 2 exam 2023, only 8.4 times of the number of vacancies have been selected. This is a notable decrease compared to previous years when 12 to 15 times the number of candidates used to qualify for the mains exam.
  • Students have raised their concerns and tagged PM Modi. At present, an official statement from the Staff Selection Commission regarding the CGL Revised Result is awaited.

While an official notification from SSC regarding the revised result is awaited, here’s how students have been reacting. Check the tweets below.

Taking to X, an aspirant wrote, “Harsh and cruel reality of SSC CGL2023 THEY ALLOWED ONLY 8.42TIMES CANDIDATES WITH RESPECT THE NUMBER OF VACANCIES ..ON BEHALF OF WHAT?NO ONE KNOWS.”

“It’s almost 3 days no response nothing from the government and SSC side ? Can’t you feel the pain of the students who are suffering? Why 8.42 times candidates were called this time?,” another aspirant wrote.

Echoing similar concern, an aspirat wrote,”Implement a particular rule of number of times candidates in tier 2 with respect the number of the seats in any SSC examination… these tricks won’t work anymore.”

NOTE: At Present, SSC has not released any official statement regarding the SSC CGL Revised Result. For more details, visit the official website of SSC.
