Heidi Klum was all smiles in a leather look, while Tiffany Haddish practiced her perfect runway walk in a magenta pink matching Coco Rocha‘s dress.
Christian Siriano hosted an informal spring 2025 collection preview over cocktails at his new Paris apartment on Wednesday.
“We just got this apartment in February,” the designer said, explaining that he’s here every other month. “Lots of job interviews so that’s fun…we’ll see.”
The apartment was abuzz with guests sipping Champagne and snapping photos.
“We moved to this area because it’s really quiet and everyone is French so you have to be in the culture,” Siriano said, adding that he’s trying to learn to speak French.
In addition to fashion, Siriano has a thriving interior decorating business; he’s furnished his Paris apartment with modern art, 1950s Murano glass chandeliers, 1960s chairs and contemporary “melting” light fixtures from flea markets around Europe, including Saint Ouen in Paris, he said.
At New York Fashion Week earlier this month, the designer returned to the Upper East Side for his spring show, taking over a ballroom at The Pierre hotel and turning it into a magical forest for his fairy-tale collection. “I really wanted people to feel like they’re transported into this kind of storybook dream world,” Siriano said backstage of the Grimms fairy-tale fantasy. Just a week later, he dressed eight people for the Emmys.
Next up, he has a book coming out Tuesday, called “The New Red Carpet.” “It’s all my red carpet over the last 16 years, about body, size, gender, all of it,” Siriano said of how he’s transformed the idea of what a red carpet star looks like. “Rizzoli did a really nice job on it.”
