Successful candidates in the Document Verification (DV) stage will undergo a medical examination conducted by Medical Boards to assess their physical and medical fitness. The medical examination will adhere to the Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination for Government Officers (GOs) and Non-Government Officers (NGOs) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles, as specified in relevant government communications.
Before the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) is conducted, candidates will need to undergo a document verification process. It is imperative that candidates present the original documents for verification during this phase. These documents include:
i) Matriculation & Senior Secondary Examination Certificates to verify age, name, and educational qualifications.

iv) Caste Certificate, when applicable, for candidates seeking reservation or age relaxation.
v) Certificate for candidates requesting relaxation in height or chest measurements.
vi) Certificate for dependent applicants of riot victims.
vii) Nativity/Identity Certificate for West Pakistani Refugees.
The mode of selection for this recruitment process comprises the following stages: Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and a Written Examination conducted either through OMR or Computer Based Test (CBT). Subsequently, candidates proceed to the Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (DME/RME) stages.
Regarding qualification in the Written Examination/CBT for progressing to the next stage, the minimum percentage of marks required is as follows:
• UR/EWS/Ex-Servicemen: 35%
• SC/ST/OBC: 33%
Selected candidates will enjoy a Pay Scale of Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100).
