RRB Group D Phase 4 Exam Date 2022 has been announced by the Railway Recruitment Board at rrbcdg.gov.in.

Hiring Alert: Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the designated trades at various Divisions/Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of Southern Railway for 2438 slots. Candidates can apply online at sr.indianrailways.gov.in from July 22 to August 12. Candidates residing in the following locations/areas falling within the Geographical Jurisdiction of Southern Railway alone are eligible to apply.

  • Whole State of Tamil Nadu
  • Whole Union Territory of Puducherry
  • Whole State of Kerala
  • Whole Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands.
  • Only the Two districts of Andhra Pradesh, namely, SPSR Nellore and Chittor.
  • Only one district of Karnataka, namely, Dakshina Kannada

  1. Fitter: Should have passed 10th class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10+2 system of education.
  2. Welder(Gas & Electric): Should have passed 10th class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10+2 system of education.
  3. Medical Laboratory Technicians: Passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system of education with physics, chemistry and biology (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks).

Southern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Check Age Limit

The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 22/24 years for Freshers/Ex-ITI, MLT respectively. The upper age is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 Years for SC/ST candidates, and 10 years for persons with disability (PwBD).

Candidates must pay Rs 100 + service charges as applicable. No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PwBD/ women candidates.

Rate of Stipend

A stipend will be paid as per the directions of the Railway Board’s circular RBE 202/2019 dated 26.11.2019 under the directives of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Notification dated 25th September 2019.
