The cherry on top? The benefits are supposed to last up to three to four shampoos. After testing it out for myself, it’s safe to say that it’s easily a product I’ll continue purchasing.

What I Like About the Color Wow Dream Coat Spray
I initially tried the Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray while getting ready for an outdoor graduation party, and it had just rained. Luckily for me, my hair stayed sleek and smooth the whole night. In fact, my hair pretty much looked like I had just styled it. However, I wanted to put this to the ultimate test, handling the humidity and the heat of Miami, and it passed with flying colors.
How to Use the Color Wow Dream Coat Spray
After using my usual shampoo and conditioner, I towel-dried my hair and sectioned it off to liberally apply the spray. The Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray is very lightweight and does not weigh my hair down. In fact, it didn’t even feel like I put in any product at all. However, for the formula to activate, you have to heat style and blow-dry your hair. Once I styled it as usual, I went about my day roaming the sunny streets and beautiful beaches of Miami.
The next day, I put the Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray to the test at the beach, where it was drizzling on and off. On the left is my second-day hair with the wind aggressively blowing it all over the place. There was no frizz, yet my hair still had volume and bounce. On the right, not only did it endure on and off drizzles but also a good splash from a crystal blue wave. Usually, my hair would turn into a giant, frizzy poof, but now, it just became wavier with no frizz whatsoever. I was pleasantly surprised at the results.
The Dream Coat Supernatural Spray successfully defeated my arch-nemesis, giving me frizz-free hair in one of the most humid cities, rain or shine.

Because of its extra dose of moisture, it’s ideal for those with dry or dehydrated hair, but you need to heat style with tension to activate this formula. It’s best to use only this product liberally on damp hair and use other styling products after you blow-dry. With this, you’ll have frizz free glossy hair with mirror-like shine.
Since the original formula is heat activated, if you have wavy or curly hair that you want to air-dry but want similar results try the Color Wow Dream Coat Anti-Frizz Treatment for Curly Hair ($24). You don’t need to use any heat to preserve your natural waves and curls without the frizz.
