ColorWow’s new scalp treatment ‘saves hair line’ and works to reduce h

Trending haircare brand ColorWow has launched a new product that boasts to promote collagen to scalp like a drink from the fountain of youth.

The Youth Juice Collagen Scalp Treatment, £44 and available on LookFantastic, is clincially proven to reduce hair shedding by up to 90% over 28 days of use as it creates optimal conditions for hair growth and stronger tresses.

Housed in an irisdescent glass bottle, the leave-in scalp treatment is non-greasy and non-sticky and can applied directly to scalp on both wet and dry hair, created specifically for those with thinning, brittle hair prone to shedding.

Made with antioxidant powerhouse ingredients like pycnogenol with procapil and amla extract to help minimise the risk of breakage and enhancing the hair’s bounce and elasticity, 80% of users reported their hair feels thicker.

One shopper left a glowing review, saying: “I started using this product daily and can already notice thicker and fuller hair from the root. I wear my hair up a lot and have recently started to notice breakage. Soo happy I found this product, it has saved my hairline. I will definitely continue to use this daily!”

A self-proclaimed ‘slicked back bun’ lover agreed, adding: ” I’ve been testing out this serum for a week and so far so good. I can definitely tell a difference in the thickness of my hair near my hairline where I have thinner hair due to constant slick back hair styles.

“Using this product hasn’t made my hair greasy or sticky so it has been easy to incorporate it to my routine. A plus is that this product is vegan!”

To use the ColorWow Youth Juice Collagen Scalp Treatment beauty fans simply apply one to three droppersful directly the scalp along the hairline on clean, damp or dry hair. The treatment can be gently massaged into the scalp and does not need rinsing off.

Brand chemist Dr. Joe Cincotta recommends using it daily for a minimum of 30 days but results are prominent after 90 days. He added: “Our extensive research confirms the direct correlation between diminished scalp collagen and diminished quality of the hair strands being produced in the hair follicles.

“As scalp collagen degrades from chronological aging or free radical damage, hair follicles shrink and become rigid, and the strands being produced become finer, brittle, less supple and resilient. Also, the follicles’ grasp on strands is weakened, leading to increased shedding and hair thinning.”

UKHair by UKLash is another popular product targeting hair thinning, the £29 product uses pea shoot extrat AnaGain, combined with Phytic Acid and Turmeric to revitalise and stimulate hair growth at the scalp.

Elsewhere, French beauty Kerastase’s Genesis Hair Serum, currently reduced from £47 to £33.43 on Amazon, combats hair loss with Aminexil, Ginger Root, and Caffeine and scored 4.4 out 5 star based on 2,799 shoppers.
