Cos Will Show Its Fashion at NYFW September 2024

Cos, the London-based fashion brand, is returning to the New York runways on Sept. 10. The show takes place at 1 p.m. and will be live-streamed on cos.com.

Cos, which is part of H&M, initially started showing during New York Fashion Week in September 2022. This marks the brand’s third runway show in New York.

The company will show its autumn 2024 mainline and Atelier collections on the runway.

“New York is a dynamic city with so much character — it’s a place of inspiration, full of interesting and creative people. We are honored to return for our third year, bringing the collections to life on the runway at an exciting new location,” said Karin Gustafson, design director of Cos.

The company declined to reveal where the show will take place, except to say it will be at a location in Brooklyn.

Steven Kolb, chief executive officer of the CFDA, added, “The CFDA is delighted to welcome Cos back to the Official NYFW Schedule. The brand’s international presence strengthens the overall week for our designers, and their commitment to making New York City the home for their collection showcases over the years is a testament to the power and appeal of our city as a global stage for creativity and business.”

As reported, this summer, Cos partnered for the first time with a Japanese artisan, Kyoto-based Kazuki Tabata, an expert at binding, folding and dyeing cloth, for a limited-edition summer capsule collection. The process uses shibori, a resist-dyeing craft that is at risk of dying out, with Tabata billed as one of the last traditional practitioners.
