Gomas posed smiling in a gleaming kitchen, barefoot in a white T-shirt and blue jeans in a pic that generated nearly 19,000 likes on Instagram.

“One moment doesn’t define you; but it can define your purpose,” the marketing executive captioned the images that included hashtags #SelfLove #Empowerment #Motivation and #StayTuned.

The post was immediately flooded with comments from her 92,000 followers, many of which speculated that Gomas was glossing over her alleged alien encounter with a fellow traveller on July 2.

“I reckon this is an AI account and the woman from the plane is locked up in Area 51,” one follower suggested.

“So weird,” another wrote. “You were clearly spooked by something on the plane. Then you come out on social media to say “Sorry” (for what??) without even explain what you saw or what happened. And now these ultra airbrushed staged photos with sentimental quotes. WTF is ACTUALLY going on here.”

Several others warned Gomas that she was about to become the object of affection for men that have a foot fetish.

“Girl, you can tell you are new to social media. Never show your feet unless you charge for it. You’re welcome,” one person wrote with another adding, “Feet pics already … Tiff, let me help you with the internet. Also, let us know what you saw. We’re not buying the bit.”

In a now-viral TikTok video, Gomas, 38, was filmed losing her cool just before takeoff on a July 2 flight bound for Orlando from Dallas.

“I’m telling you, I’m getting the f— off and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f— off and everyone can either believe it or they can not believe it,” Gomas was seen screaming as she marched down the aisle.

Pointing towards the back of the plane, Gomas declared: “I don’t give two f—s, but I am telling you right now – that motherf—er back there is not real. You can sit on this plane, and you can die with them or not. I’m not going to.”

The Dallas woman added, “I am not sitting by that man,” again gesturing towards the craft’s rear end.

Gomas was allowed to exit the plane, but her tirade continued after she was back inside the airport as she swore at cops.

Police bodycam footage obtained by the New York Post showed Gomas being escorted from the terminal. “Do not let that flight leave … That flight is not going to make it to Orlando. It’s not going to,” she pleaded.

“Y’all need to escort me out…really,” Gomas told one officer. “Until you see this flight f—ing blow up.”

Gomas, who was identified as the woman behind the rant after she shot to fame on the Internet, took to social media last week to try and explain her behaviour.

“Hi, everyone, it’s me, Tiffany Gomas, probably better known as the ‘crazy plane lady,’ which is completely warranted,” Gomas said in a selfie-style video posted to X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday. “First and foremost, I want to take full accountability for my actions. They were completely unacceptable. Distressed or not … I should have been in control of my emotions. And that was not the case.”

Gomas claimed that her psychotic break came after she suffered a “bad moment.”

“We all have our bad moments, some far worse than others. And mine happened to be caught on camera for the whole world to see multiple times,” she continued with tears forming in her eyes.

Gomas also added that she has enjoyed some of the memes, one of which being a painting of her gesturing to a cabin packed with made-believe characters — including Bigfoot, a unicorn and a bug-eyed alien — and another which showed her rant being directed at McDonaldland character Grimace.

“It has been really comical for everyone and I have enjoyed so many of the memes,” Gomas said. “On the flip side, it is very invasive and unkind, and I don’t know what I would do without the love and support of my friends and family.”

Her apology came after she tried to explain her outburst in an interview with the Daily Mail last week in which she begged the public not to “judge” her.

“My life has been blown up. It’s frightening. Things go viral and everything changes,” she told the publication. “No one knows anyone else’s story, and no one should judge. No one knows what it’s like.”

According to a police report, Gomas’ tirade began after she accused a relative of stealing her Apple AirPods.

“The female then started claiming the aircraft was not safe and did not want the aircraft to leave due to her believing it would not make it to its destination,” the report added.
