According to a DMRC notification, Delhi Metro services on the Yellow Line will be briefly regulated during the intervening night of July 20-21.
Delhi Metro: The Delhi Metro train services on the Yellow Line (Samaypur Badli – Millennium City Centre Gurugram), will be briefly regulated on the intervening night of July 20-21 in view of civil work which is planned to be carried on a 490-metre section of the Janakpuri West to R K Ashram Corridor, the DMRC said in an official notification on Friday.
According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) notification, during the above mentioned period, Delhi Metro services on the Yellow Line will run as per the following plan:
- On Saturday (July 20) the last train will depart at 10:45 PM instead of 11:00 PM from Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Centre Gurugram and at 09:30 PM instead of 11:00 PM from Millennium City Centre Gurugram to Samaypur Badli.
- On Sunday, July 21, the first train service will depart at 07.00 AM instead of 06:00 AM from Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Centre Gurugram.
- Additionally, there will be NO train services available between the small section of Samaypur Badli and Jahangirpuri after 11:00 PM on July 20 (Saturday) and before 07:00 AM on July 21 (Sunday), the DMRC informed.
“However, normal train services will continue to remain available on the remaining major section of Yellow Line from Jahangirpuri to Millennium City Centre Gurugram during this period,” the notification said.
The DMRC said that announcements about this planned disruption in services will also be made a the stations and inside the trains plying on Yellow Line in order to avoid any inconvenience to passengers during these late night/early morning hours on the weekend of July 20-21, 2024.
On July 20-21, civil work is scheduled to be carried out on a 490-metre section of the Janakpuri West to R K Ashram Corridor of Delhi Metro’s Phase-IV, where the alignment crosses over the Haiderpur Badli Mor Metro station on the Yellow Line, the DMRC stated.
