Taking to X(formerly Twitter), Delhi Education Minister Atishi wrote,”Schools in Delhi will remain closed for the next 5 days due to the prevailing cold weather conditions, for students from Nursery to Class 5.”

Initially, the Delhi government extended the winter break in all government-aided and recognized private schools in the national capital territory (NCT) till January 10 due to severe cold waves. However, shortly after issuing the order, the Delhi government reversed its decision regarding the extension of the winter vacation in schools within the national capital.
