Designer Brands Inc. announced on Monday the appointment of Sarah Crockett as chief marketing officer (CMO) of DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, effective June 6, 2024.
In this role, Crockett will oversee the planning, development, and execution of all marketing and advertising initiatives for DSW’s nearly 500 U.S. store locations and its e-commerce platform, DSW.com. Her responsibilities will include enhancing DSW’s brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and ensuring consistent brand messaging.

Crockett’s background includes global full-funnel marketing and brand strategy development, with experience in multi-channel and consumer-centric marketing. She most recently served as global chief marketing officer at Nature’s Sunshine Products, Inc., where she oversaw global product development, research and development, and category positioning. She has also held prominent roles at Dickies, Backcountry, Burton, Lucky Brand, Vans, and REI.
Crockett currently serves on the board of directors for Rumpl, a sustainable and versatile outdoor blanket brand, and Stance, a brand known for its socks, underwear, and t-shirts that celebrate individuality and artistic design.
