Former Australia’s Got Talent star Jack Vidgen has stunned in his “best look yet”.
Fans flocked to the star’s Instagram page to note his striking resemblance to the very popular Mattel doll Ken – currently topical with the new Barbie film in cinemas.
Vidgen’s snap showed him posing against a marble backdrop with his arms crossed in front of his body.

“#nofilter,” the photo was simply captioned.
Vidgen, 26, is well-known for melting hearts when he appeared on Australia’s Got Talent as a 14-year-old.
These days, however, he has undergone a dramatic transformation and fans were quick to point out the similarities between Vidgen and Ken.
“Hi Ken,” make-up artist Karyssa Leigh wrote.
“He’s just Ken,” wrote a second.
“I’m geting Ken vibes,” another agreed.
“Ken is that you?” another fan added.
“Your job is beach,” a user said, in reference to the Barbie film’s Ken, played by Ryan Gosling.
Indeed, Barbie’s Ken has undergone something of a resurgence ever since the Greta Gerwig-directed blockbuster Barbie hit cinema screens.
The film has been so successful that a sequel is already reportedly in the works.
Barbie raked in a stunning $155 million in the US in its opening week alone, and last week it joined the $1 billion club in global box office sales – a feat only achieved by about 50 films in history.
Gosling’s version of Ken took the world by storm, stunning with a dance sequence to the song I’m Just Ken and has led to a series of Ken-related phrases including, You are Kenough, Kenergy and He’s Just Ken.
Rise to fame
Vidgen, meanwhile, quickly became the nation’s sweetheart when he appeared on AGT in 2011 as a teenager.
But his rise to fame had darker implications.
In July 2022, he revealed he had gone through a battle with drug addiction and nearly died after an overdose in 2021.
Vidgen told Carla from Bankstown’s OMG Bro podcast that he attended Narcotics Anonymous meetings and was determined to stay drug and alcohol free.
“I have had a history with substance abuse,” he revealed on the show.
“I think that’s definitely stemming from trauma.”
Growing up in the public spotlight wasn’t easy for Vidgen.
After a stint in a Sydney rehab facility in 2020, he was clean for about six months in 2021 before things began to spiral out of control again.
“I essentially overdosed and am very lucky I didn’t die,” he said.
“When I wrote my single Goodbye (in 2021), it was when I decided to go sober.
“That was last year, and since then I was sober for about six months and then I did start drinking again.
“And then it did get a bit hectic again.
“I’ve never been an alcoholic, but it always starts (with alcohol) for me and it doesn’t end there.
“Maybe not always, but the chaos builds up.”
The singer said attending NA helped him stay disciplined and connected him with people going through the same things.
“Just to have something that I can go to … and hearing people’s stories and sharing where you’re at, I find it really powerful,” he said.
“I know for now, I just need to be sober. I want clarity in my life. I want peace.
“I want to live authentically, and I’m just finding at the moment being sober from alcohol and everything else is what needs to happen right now at least.
“It’s a day-by-day thing.”
Over the years, Vidgen has also been candid about his changing looks, admitting to various cosmetic procedures, including fillers and teeth whitening.
“I’ve had heaps of filler,” he previously revealed.
“I didn’t have any lips. I used to try all sorts of things. Fillers in the cheeks, fillers in the jaw, fillers in the nose, everything.”
