The lamppost in a flower bed around the Disneyland flag pole is used for stage lighting for parades and shows along Main Street U.S.A.
The lamppost was removed just after 10 a.m. as Disneyland used Main Street U.S.A. vehicles to block off the half of Town Square next to the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln opera house from pedestrian traffic, according to WDW News Today.
The park remained open and visitors arriving and exiting were directed along the west side of Town Square closest to Disneyland City Hall.
