The 2024 Duke 390 features re-designed split LED headlamps with boomerang-shaped DRLs. It also gets a sculpted fuel tank and bigger tank shrouds. It gets a split seat setup and a re-designed subframe and swingarm along with a sleek exhaust setup.
The new Duke 390 features a fully adjustable front 43 mm USD telescopic suspension setup with a mono-shock setup at the rear. The bike gets a 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS, cornering and Supermoto ABS. The bike also features 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped up in Michelin tyres. The Indian version might get different tyres.
Talking about the engine, the new Duke 390 is powered by a 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which puts out 44 BHP and 39 Nm. It comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper-clutch and quick-shifter.
Features in the new Duke include a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity for calls and music control. The bike also gets ride modes – Street, Rain and Track. For the very first time, the Duke 390 will get launch control.
The new Duke 390 tips the scale at 165 kg and KTM is offering a few accessories too. India launch is expected to happen within a few months and KTM might make a few changes to the Indian version. The price for the new Duke 390 is expected to start from Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the new 390 will compete with Bajaj Dominor 400, BMW G310 RR, Zontes 350R, Honda CB 300R, Triumph speed 400, Harley Davidson X400 and many more.
