EASTENDERS actress Shona McGarty has fuelled engagement rumours in a loved-up post on Valentine’s Day.
It comes just five months after she split from her soap co-star and moved on with the Irish musician.
The Sun revealed in October Shona, 32, is now dating singer David Bracken, who is one half of Irish guitar duo Blessed.
And appears their romance is heating up.
She’s now been spotted wearing a ring on her left hand – again – in their latest photos on social media.
The smitten couple posed for sweet snaps to celebrate their first Valentine’s Day together and David showered the Whitney Dean actress with compliments too.
He penned next to their photos: “Happy Valentines Day to the most beautiful amazing woman I know @shonabmx you looked and always look amazing. #happyvalentinesday #dinner #absobeautbiedebishbous #shonamcgarty #shintyanddinty #valentines #partnerincrime”
Taking to the comments section, one eagle-eyed fan wrote: “are u two engaged ? Looking absolutely gorjuss in red xxx”
One more said: “Can clearly see she is wearing a ring!”
Others wondered if the couple had taken their photos in the mirror and the ring was in fact on her right hand.
However, Shona was seen with the jewellery out and about last week and the ring sparkled on her wedding finger.
The actress, best known for playing Whitney Dean on the BBC soap, could be seen laughing and giggling with David after attending her sister’s wedding.
The smitten couple teamed up for a sweet music video last week that saw David strumming his guitar and Shona playing the harmonica.
Last year, Shona split from Max Bowden – six months after they started dating.
The actor, who plays Ben Mitchell in EastEnders, and stunning Shona decided it wasn’t going to work after Max became a dad for the first time with his ex girlfriend.
Shona, who is also a talented singer, recently explained her decision to leave Walford and her character Whitney Dean behind after more than a decade.
She said: “It wasn’t an easy decision because I’ve made so many friends.
“I’ve seen people come and go, and meanwhile, Whitney has been one of the longest-standing characters.
“I’ve had so much fun and done so many storylines, some of which have been sensitive, and I’ve been honoured to be trusted with such heavy stuff, year after year.”
