Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion was recently given a June 21 release date on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The release date announcement was accompanied by the debut of an incredible new trailer, which sheds light on the setting, characters, enemies and new weapons. The most imposing new character is Messmer the Impaler, who is heavily featured as part of the Collector’s Edition, which is back in stock at GAME while stocks last. The Collector’s Edition contains a 46cm figurine of Messmer the Impaler, which is really impressive to look at, and is likely to increase in value as time goes on.

In addition to the statue of Messmer the Impaler, the Collector’s Edition comes with a code to access the DLC, as well as an exclusive Hardcover artbook and digital soundtrack.

The restock was announced by GAME on X: “Very limited quantities of the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition are back in stock! Don’t miss out! Secure your pre-order here.”

Game director Hidetaka Miyazaki recently said that the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion will take place in a brand new area called the Land of Shadow.

The new area is said to be as big or maybe even bigger than Limgrave from the main game.

The Land of Shadow will be accessible by interacting with the withered hand in the cocoon located at Mohg’s boss arena. Players will be following in the footsteps of Miquella.

Needless to say, the DLC will contain new monsters, bosses, Legacy dungeons and countless landmarks for players to discover.

Developer FromSoftware explains more: “Discover uncharted territories, face formidable adversaries, and revel in the satisfying triumph of victory.

“Dive into the riveting interplay of characters, where drama and intrigue intertwine, that create an immersive experience to savor and enjoy.”
