Tesla CEO Elon Musk currently has a real-time net worth of $304 billion, making him the first and only member of the $300 billion club.
The net worth of Tesla CEO Elon Musk has surged by over $50 billion, crossing the elusive $300 billion mark, less than a week after Donald Trump registered a thumping victory in the US Presidential Elections 2024. As per Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaires list, Musk currently has a real-time net worth of $304 billion, making him the first and only member of the $300 billion club.
The remarkable increase in Elon Musk’s wealth is primarily due to the surge in prices of Tesla stock, which jumped nearly 30 percent in the last five days, since Trump won the US elections.
On Friday, Tesla shares witnessed a rise of 8.19 percent, reaching $321.22 billion, leading to Musk’s wealth surging by 4.71 percent to $304 billion. Notably, Elon Musk was already the world’s richest individual, boasting a net worth of around $250 billion, prior to the US election results.
However, the shares of Musk’s companies, especially Tesla, witnessed a sharp increase after Trump’s historic win. The SpaceX founder had openly endorsed the former President and even attended and spoke at his campaign rallies. Musk also landed in controversy with this $1million-day sweepstakes during the US election campaign, and reportedly gave away $44 million to American citizens who signed a pledge to support gun rights.
Donald Trump is set to storm back into the White House after registering a thumping victory, winning the popular vote as well as 295 electoral college votes. The outspoken billionaire had openly endorsed top US billionaires, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Larry Ellison, Mark Zuckerberg, and Larry Page, during his campaign.
Meanwhile. Oracle’s Larry Ellison has replaced Amazon founder Jeff Bezos as the second richest person in the world. Ellison has a net worth of $230.7 billion, followed by Bezos ($224.5 billion), and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in the fourth spot with a net worth of $203.8 billion.
The trio, along with Elon Musk, are the only four members in the super-exclusive $200 million club, while the SpaceX CEO is now the one and only member of the elusive $300 million club.
