For nearly a decade, Etudes Studio faithfully graced the Parisian runways. However, the creative trio behind the Parisian label, Aurélien Arbet, Jérémie Égry, and José Lamali, also the creative minds behind Aigle, specializing in boots and outerwear, have chosen to take a pause. This break aims to introduce a new strategy into their repertoire.

While the Fall/Winter 2024-25 collection will be showcased to buyers in a showroom, it won’t take the spotlight on the runway. During this transitional phase, the designers at Etudes will be channeling their efforts towards a new project. “This initiative reflects the brand’s continuous quest for novel creative approaches, emphasizing introspection and presenting distinct perspectives,” stated the brand in a press release.

“This decision also marks the beginning of a new era for the brand, characterized by significant transformations that will gradually unfold throughout 2024. Collection N°24 will symbolize a major milestone in Etudes’ history, akin to the striking of midnight on a clock, heralding an unprecedented day,” explained Etudes, while refraining from providing any further details, confirming only its intention to return to the Parisian runways in June.

The primary objective is evidently to evolve the brand and its business model.

“We’re taking advantage of this new year and the impending Collection N°24 to start afresh. 2024 marks a new beginning. In response to an incessantly moving world, we’ve chosen to take our time in meticulously preparing for this new year. 2024 is yet to be unveiled,” expressed the three designers.

Founded in 2012 by a collective of three creatives and two operational experts, Etudes encompasses fashion under one banner, comprising a creative studio and collections. Initially focusing on men’s clothing and later expanding to introduce women’s ready-to-wear in 2017, the brand also integrates editorial endeavors.

The house boasts its own boutique on rue Debelleyme in Paris, in addition to corners in Galeries Lafayette and in China. Furthermore, it is distributed through its e-shop and via 120 multi-brand retailers across 20 countries.
