On August 10, 2024, Regent Middle East education institute hosted an exciting One Piece Anime Art Competition that drew over 150 anime enthusiasts and talented artists to celebrate their love for the iconic series and created stunning works of art in both digital and physical mediums.

The competition was divided into three categories — Sub Juniors, Juniors, and Seniors — allowing artists of various age groups to display their unique interpretations of the beloved characters and themes from One Piece. Each category recognized the top three artists, resulting in a total of nine winners.

In addition to the category winners, a grand prize of AED 1,000 was awarded to the artist whose work stood out as the best overall. This prestigious award underscored the level of creativity and dedication present among the participants, who poured their passion for One Piece into their masterpieces.

A representative of Regent Middle East said about the event:” The overwhelming response from the anime community in Dubai, coupled with the unwavering support of the artists’ parents, truly defined the beauty of this event”.

“The event not only celebrated artistic talent but also embraced the spirit of One Piece, a series known for its themes of adventure, friendship, and perseverance. In the world of One Piece, the journey is just as important as the destination, and this message resonated throughout the competition. Artists were encouraged to channel the spirit of the Straw Hat Pirates, capturing the essence of camaraderie, courage, and the relentless pursuit of dreams in their creations,” he added.

About the challenges of organizing the event, the representative said:” Evaluating the artworks was the major challenge we faced. With so many exceptional pieces created that day, both digitally and traditionally, selecting the winners was incredibly difficult. Ultimately, only one artist could take the top prize”.

About the feedback of the participants of the event, the representative said:” The One Piece Anime Art Competition at Regent Middle East sparked a wave of enthusiasm and appreciation among both participants and their families. The response from parents and artists alike highlighted the impact of this unique event on the local anime community”.

“The One Piece Anime Art Competition was more than just a contest; it was a vibrant gathering of the anime community, offering a platform for fans to connect, share their love for the series, and inspire one another. The event concluded with a networking session, allowing participants to engage with like-minded individuals and further explore their artistic passions”.

“Regent Middle East’s commitment to fostering creativity and community through such events has once again proven successful. The One Piece Anime Art Competition not only showcased the incredible talent of the artists but also reinforced the enduring impact of anime culture in the region,” he added.
