F1 2023 Japanese Grand Prix: Qualifying, Race time in India and where to watch

For the 17th round of the 2023 season, Formula One heads to the 5.807 km long Suzuka Circuit for the Japanese Grand Prix. After an end to his record-breaking 10 consecutive win victories last week at the Singapore GP, Max Verstappen looks all set to bounce back after strong displays during the first two Free Practice sessions at Suzuka.
If you have been following Formula One this season, you probably already know that the motorsport is not being streamed on any third party OTT platform in India, even when fans could enjoy races either on the Star Sports channel, or the Disney HotStar+ OTT platform until last year.

Instead, Formula One is promoting its own OTT video platform in India called F1 TV. To catch all the action live, one would need to opt for the more premium F1 TV Pro subscription, which is currently priced at $29.99 for the same period, or about Rs 2,486 in Indian currency. There’s also a monthly plan which is priced at $3.99 (INR 331) for the Pro plan.

With the FP1 and FP2 already having concluded, here is the full schedule of the remainder of the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix weekend as per Indian Standard Time (IST) –
September 23 (Saturday)
Practice 3 – 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Qualifying – 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
September 24 (Sunday)
Race – 10:30 AM onwards
