Farmer Wants a Wife favourite Rachel Boothman has shared a stunning new selfie on social media – and shared an insight into some of her bed-time reading.
Posting to Instagram, Rachel shared a mirror selfie captioned “Morning steps”, showing her in her fitness gear – a cropped top and black shorts.

And, in an unusual twist for a lot of people’s early morning mirror selfies, in the background is a perfectly made-up bed in a pristine-looking bedroom.
In a second post, Rachel switched to sharing her evening routine, which involved a little bit of thought-provoking reading.
The post was captioned “goodnight” and featured a quote from a book she was immersed in.
“The kindest people are not born that way, they are made,” the quote reads.
“They are the souls that have experienced so much at the hands of life, they are the ones who have dug themselves out of the dark, who have fought to turn every loss into a lesson.
“The kindest people do not just exist – they choose to soften where circumstance has tried to harden them, they choose to believe in goodness, because they have seen firsthand why compassion is so necessary.”
The quote is from self-help author Bianca Sparacino, who has written books such as The Strength in Our Scars, A Gentle Reminder and Seeds Planted in Concrete.
Rachel made Farmer Wants a Wife history this year by being one half of the first set of twin sisters to ever appear on the show.
Rachel was on Farmer Brenton’s farm stay, making it through to the finale, while sister Chelsea was vying for the heart of Farmer Matt.
Since leaving the show, the Perth twins have launched their own podcast, called Times Two, about the trials and tribulations of life in your 20s.
And while Chelsea and Rachel didn’t find love on the show, they said they had no regrets.
On the Times Two podcast they encouraged people to apply for the 2024 season, saying the new crop of farmers looked great.
While Farmer Brenton eventually chose Sophie Holcombe over Rachel, Sophie recently announced that she and Brenton had already split up.
“With a heavy heart, I want to let everyone know Brenton and I have gone our separate ways,” she wrote.
“It’s a disappointing ending, but I’ve learned a lot about myself and my values.
“I wish Brenton all the best and want to thank everyone for their support, especially my family and friends.”
That announcement prompted some fans of the show to wonder if Brenton should have chosen Rachel in the first place.
After the news was shared to the Farmer Wants a Wife Facebook fan page, many said they felt all along that Brenton and Rachel had been better suited.
“I think Brenton picked the wrong girl,” one fan wrote.
“Call Rachel, someone, please,” said another.
