FKA Twigs has made her debut in her first campaign with Swiss sportswear brand On, since joining as a creative partner earlier this year.
The campaign, under the theme ‘The Body is Art’, explores the beauty of bodies in motion—a concept inspired by twigs herself. Globally known for her avant-garde approach to music, dance, and visual arts, she brings her distinctive perspective to On, challenging traditional perceptions of training.
“Training puts me in a different mind and body space that elevates me to a higher frequency,” said FKA Twigs.
“When I train, I feel very beautiful, but it’s a beauty from the inside. It’s got nothing to do with how I look on the outside. It’s just a beautiful feeling. The body is art, so why don’t we approach it that way?”
Shot by photographer Jordan Hemingway, the campaign’s visuals evoke a sense of calm and well-being set against nature, reflecting On’s ambition to redefine training by encouraging individuality and holistic well-being.
The campaign highlights the fall/winter 24 training collection featuring menswear and womenswear, designed to support a broad range of training activities with a focus on comfort and style. Key items include the Active-T Graphic, Movement Joggers, and Movement Bra.
Completing the collection is footwear including the Cloudnova X and Cloud X 4. The collection features a vibrant color palette of gecko, frost, and mulberry, alongside timeless classics such as white, black, and indigo.
As part of the collaboration, On and FKA Twigs are set to present on Monday a live performance event in London, celebrating the beauty of movement. Co-created by FKA Twigs and set designer Arthur De Borman, this immersive experience will highlight the strength, fragility, and empowerment that comes through training.
