New Delhi: The National Board Of Examinations In Medical Sciences(NBEMS) will conduct the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination today, July 7, 2024. The FMGE exam will be conducted in two shifts. The Paper-I will be conducted from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. Meanwhile, the Part II will commence from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Once the exams are completed, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences will announce the results of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE). The NBEMS FMGE Result 2024 will be declared at https://natboard.edu.in/.
FMGE Result Date: NBEMS to Announce FMGE Result by Aug 6
As per the information bulletin, the FMGE Result will be announced by August 6. The scorecard shall be available for download to the candidates through applicant login using User ID and Password, likely within a week of the declaration of the result.
FMGE Passing Marks
A candidate shall be declared as having passed only if he/she obtains a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 in the examination. Results (Pass/Fail) for eligible candidates will be displayed on NBEMS website. There is no provision for re-totaling/re-evaluation/ award of grace marks in FMGE.
As per the regulations, “An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act.
Any question asked in the FMGE Examination can be challenged for technical errors till July 8
Before the declaration of the result, any question asked in the FMGE Examination can be challenged for technical errors, if any, with supportive medical literature, in not more than 2 calendar days after the conduct of the examination i.e. till 8th July 2024. No claims made beyond 2 days of conduct of examination (i.e. after 8th July 2024) shall be entertained under any circumstances.
Collect FMGE Pass Certificates within 6 months of declaration of result
Qualified candidates shall be issued Pass Certificates after in-person document and identity verification tentatively within four weeks of declaration of results, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, this period may vary. candidates who would be declared qualified in FMGE June 2024 and fail to collect their FMGE Pass Certificates as per assigned schedule of distribution of Pass Certificates shall be able to collect the same within 6 months of declaration of result, failing which their candidature & result for FMGE June 2024 would be deemed as cancelled and no further opportunity to collect the Pass Certificate shall be given.
