When it opens in early spring, customers inside the 450-seat Saluhall could experience vegan and vegetarian eats from some of the Bay Area’s best purveyors, including Puerto Rican restaurant Casa Boriqueña, Indian food eatery Curry Up Now, Filipino-American comfort food specialist The Sarap Shop, Mexican taqueria La Venganza and Chinese noodle expert Momo Noodle, as first reported by the San Francisco Business Times.
The five brands have roots in the Bay Area and feature menus rich with plant-based options.

Curry Up Now, an Indian street food concept conceived by Akash Kapoor, launched in 2009. It is based in South San Francisco and now has locations across the United States, including seven Bay Area locations. The brand is known for its tikka masala burritos.
Momo Noodle is the last installment and will bring ban mian, or Chinese “dry” noodles to Saluhall. In 2023, it was named one of the Bay Area’s best food trucks by the San Francisco Chronicle (The Chronicle and SFGATE are both owned by Hearst but have separate newsrooms).
