Foot Locker will make it official debut in the Indian market with its omnichannel launch in India on October 19th with the launch of its first store and e-commerce website.
Metro Brands Ltd will be operating its physical stores while Nykaa Fashion will handle the e-commerce business.
Foot Locker’s first store will open at the Select City Walk Mall in New Delhi along with the launch of Foot Locker website as well as shop-in-shop on the Nykaa Fashion and Nykaa Man platforms.
Commenting on the launch, Peter Scaturro, senior vice president for strategic planning & growth at Foot Locker Inc in a statement said, “Bringing Foot Locker to India, via licensing arrangements with Metro Brands and Nykaa Fashion, is a pivotal milestone in our global expansion. India’s vibrant sneaker culture offers a unique opportunity for Foot Locker to become a leading brand in the market.”
“With our Foot Locker Reimagined concept, we aim to elevate the sneaker experience by blending innovation and technology in an immersive environment. Together with Metro Brands and Nykaa Fashion, we’re thrilled to inspire and empower Indian sneakerheads to express their individuality and connect with the Heart of Sneakers,” he added.
Foot Locker based in New York, US, retails in more than 40 countries across the globe, and counts over 2,500 stores.
