Former Disney Channel star Mitchel Musso has spoken out after he was dramatically arrested at a hotel in Texas.
The Hannah Montana star, now 32, was arrested on charges of theft and public intoxication on August 16.
The former child star, who appeared in the hit show alongside Miley Cyrus, was virtually unrecognisable in a mug shot released by the Rockwell Police Department.

Musso was arrested after someone reported a disturbance at the hotel in Texas.
The actor allegedly became verbally abusive after being asked to pay for a bag of chips and reportedly left the premises without paying.
The actor has since broken his silence in an interview with People, denying that he had stolen anything or that he was drunk at the time of his arrest.
“There was no theft, and I was not intoxicated,” he said.
“It’s just been unfortunate, but it’s a big misunderstanding.”
Musso told the outlet that a “disgruntled employee” berated him for his attire when he walked into the hotel wearing only boardshorts after spending the day wave-surfing.
“This disgruntled employee, whose behavior was erratic, ripped the bag of potato chips out of my hand and started yelling at me about my attire,” Musso claimed, adding that he offered to pay for the bag of chips.
“He said, ‘Get out or I’m going to call the police.’
“Ultimately, I said, ‘Sure. Call the cops’.”
Musso said he was “surrounded by 30 cops,” calling the situation “scary”.
“It’s a scary position to be in. They brought me in,” he said.
“I had absolutely nothing to say to any of them, because I knew what was going on.
“They called me by my first name.
“They knew exactly who I was, because it’s my hometown.
“People know me.”
The actor said he was only charged because he had two outstanding warrants from 2019 for unpaid parking tickets.
In Musso’s police mugshot, he appears somewhat disoriented and has a white towel draped across his front.
According to Rockwell Police Department, Musso spent one night in jail and was released the next day after posting a USD $1000 (AUD $1548) bond.
He even joked to People about his overnight jail stay.
“Guess what they feed you in jail for free?” he said.
“Ruffles potato chips.
“I got my free potato chips.”
