Business tycoon Gautam Adani received good news on Dhanteras after his company, Adani Enterprises, reported a rise in net profit during the July-September quarter.
The company saw a jump of 664% to Rs 1741 crore. It had registered Rs 228 crore in 2023.
On Tuesday, Adani Enterprises declared its results for the quarter from July to September. In the last two quarters, April to June and July to September, the company witnessed a cumulative net profit increase of 254 percent, reaching Rs 3,196 crore. The market capitalization of the company is Rs 3.28 lakh crore.
Gautam Adani, Adani Group chairman, said the company is to focus on investment in logistics, energy transition and other sectors that are important for the country’s growth. With the swift growth capacity, Adani New Industries Ltd (ANIL) and Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) have led a splendid performance, he added.
The company’s total revenue from operations experienced a 15 percent increase to Rs 23,196 crore in the July-September quarter. The combined total income for the two quarters, April-June and July-September, rose 14 percent to Rs 49,263 crore.
