The authorities have said that the bank never sends links or APK files through SMS or WhatsApp. Do not download unknown files or click on suspicious links to protect yourself from potential scams. Always verify any such messages directly through official SBI channels.
The government has said that if the SBI customers receive an unusual message asking for personal information, they must contact SBI through their verified contact methods to confirm its authenticity.
