A driver in an empty bus travelling through Sydney’s eastern suburbs was ambushed by a group of men who smashed his window and threatened him just before dawn on Monday.
The five males ran out from behind some bushes and stood in the middle of Anzac Pde, near Henry Ln, at Little Bay, forcing the bus driver to stop about 5am.
It is understood they demanded to be let on the bus, and NSW Police told 7NEWS.com.au that the offenders “threw an object towards the front window of the bus, which resulted in the window panel cracking.”
