CBSE has released detailed guidelines for conducting the Internal Assessment and Project examinations with the Supplementary Examinations, 2024.
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has released detailed guidelines for conducting the Internal Assessment and Project examinations with the Supplementary Examinations, 2024. “As per provisions of the Scheme of studies/examination bye-laws of the board, internal assessments or project exams are also required to be conducted in respect of the categories of students,” CBSE in an official notice said.
For candidates who are “RP” (Repeat in Practical) in Internal Assessment Subject, the marks will be uploaded for them by the parent School of the Candidate. Check the guidelines below.
CBSE Supplementary Exams 2024: Guidelines Issued For Conducting Project And Internal Assessment
- For candidates who are “RP” (Repeat in Practical) in Internal Assessment Subject, the marks will be uploaded for them by the parent School of the Candidate.
- Candidates who are “RP” (Repeat In Practical) in Project Subject(s), the Project will be evaluated and marks will be uploaded for them at the respective Examination Centres only. The Regional Directors / Officers may appoint external examiners for evaluation of projects at the respective Centres itself.
- Such activities may be completed by the end of Supplementary Examinations, 2024 of the respective Classes.
- All other terms, conditions and assigned activities remain unchanged and are in effect.
CBSE Supplementary Exams 2024: Practical Exam Dates
- The practical examination will be conducted from July 5 to July 15, 2024.
CBSE Supplementary Exams 2024: Practical Exam Venue
- For regular candidates, practical examinations will be conducted in their schools. For private candidates, practical exams in a particular subject(s) is not available, the concerned regional official may take necessary arrangements for conducting the practical examination in that subject(s) in a nearby examination centre/school.
CBSE Supplementary Exam Dates
The Board will conduct the CBSE Secondary School Supplementary Examination(Class X) from July 15 to July 22, 2024. Meanwhile, the CBSE Senior Secondary School Supplementary Examination(Class XII) will be held only on July 15.
