Hailey Bieber Got the Daintiest Hand Tattoo of All Time — See Photo

Few celebrities are more influential in the beauty realm than Hailey Bieber. Remember when she started frequently wearing hair bows over the summer, and then suddenly hair bows were everywhere? It’s a super cute, classic look, so we can’t blame anyone for following suit. And now, it seems, Bieber may have influenced herself: Apparently, she likes the hair-ribbon look so much that she wanted to immortalize it in ink. Hair bows, meet the hand bow.

Bieber posted a closeup of her hand to her Instagram Stories, but you may have to squint to see what she’s showing off. “New tiny baby tat” she wrote — and that may be the understatement of the year.

Right above her wrist, on the left side of her left hand, is a truly minuscule new tattoo of the sweetest little bow. The simple, black linework is absolutely adorable — and so on-trend considering bows have been everywhere in 2023 (thanks in part to her).

This, of course, is nowhere near Bieber’s first hand tattoo. Her fingers have been covered in small designs for years — though none quite so tiny as this new bow. But she may be surprised by how quickly the new tattoo might heal or fade compared to the ones on her digits.

“Depending on the exact area of the hands, it can heal completely differently,” tattoo artist Johnny Dagger previously told Allure. “The best bet for hand tattoos are the top of the fingers and top of hands. Those two areas will heal well and will not fade quickly. When you tattoo other parts of the hands, it can definitely be a roll of the dice to see if the tattoo stays or not.” And in general, no matter where they are placed, fine line tattoos tend to fade more than others.
