Helen of Troy acquires nail care brand Olive & June (#1682739)

Consumer products firm Helen of Troy has acquired nail care brand Olive & June, as the U.S. company looks to expands it beauty portfolio.

The total deal is expected to be $225 million in cash at closing, and a $15 million earnout subject to performance over three years.

Under the acquisition, Helen of Troy is looking to add value to Olive & June, using its scalable operating platform, while the nail care brand looks to accelerate profitable growth for the consumer firm by diversifying its product offerings.

Founded in 2013, Olive & June is an omni-channel DIY nail care brand that offers polish, artificial, tools, treatment, and care,  bringing a salon-quality experience to the home.

The acquisition is expected to close before calendar year end 2024, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
