The Karizma XMR is expected to be powered by a new 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It will be paired with a 6-speed transmission, as indicated in a high-tech invite we received from the manufacturer days ago. The engine will be getting the DOHC architecture, which will likely enhance the top-end performance of the motorcycle.

Apart from a fresh design approach and new elements, the motorcycle will get features such as a split seat, a dual-tone fuel tank, telescopic forks at the front, and a preload-adjustable monoshock unit at the rear.
The new Karizma is slated for an August 29 launch and can be expected to come at a starting price of Rs 2.05 lakh, as speculated from a cryptic post by the manufacturer on its X (formerly known as Twitter) handle.
With the launch of the Karizma XMR, Hero marks the return of the iconic Karizma brand. The Karizma has been a popular motorcycle in India since its debut in 2003. However, the brand was discontinued in 2020 due to dwindling sales. The Karizma XMR is expected to be a major addition to the growing entry-level sports motorcycle segment in India.
