The Boon Flair Highchair by TOMY Australia has been urgently recalled after a defect caused some of the products to collapse and cause injuries to small children.
The bolts used to secure the base can come loose and cause the seat to detach from the single pedestal leg it sits upon.
“There is a risk of serious injury to young children if the seat detaches and falls from the base, ” the ACCC said.
