Which EPF Member Is Eligible To Automatic PF Transfer Facility After Job Change?

The Automatic transfer of EPF accounts from an old to a new employer is not available to all EPF members. In order to be eligible for this facility, members EPF accounts both old and new accounts must be with EPSO.  It means if either of the employer’s accounts are Exempted PF trusts or private provident fund trust, then employees will not be eligible for automatic EPF transfer facility.

In some of the organizations a private PF trust manages the provident fund for the company instead of the EPFO. So an EPF member who has an old or EPF account with exempted trust needs to apply for transfer via Form 13 either online or offline.
