Arguably it’s a bit of a Frankenstein cooler. HYTE is unveiling its all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooler, the THICC Q60. Initially introduced at Computex 2023, the THICC Q60 is poised to redefine the contemporary liquid cooling landscape. With the industry’s largest digital IPS display on an AIO and a commitment to delivering  performance-to-noise ratio, HYTE aims to set a new standard in this domain. The centerpiece of the THICC Q60 is its 5-inch ultraslim IPS display, situated above the CPU block on a double-hinged floating spout. This display boasts a resolution of 720 x 1280 and at 293 pixels per inch.

With a 60 Hz refresh rate and 300 nits of brightness, it provides a visually immersive experience. Behind the display panel, a 42-pixel qRGB array illuminates system components, all controllable through HYTE Nexus software. Efficiency and quiet operation are hallmarks of the THICC Q60’s design. Dual harmonic pumps featuring aerospace-grade ceramic bearings reside within the 240 mm by 52 mm thick heat exchanger. These pumps facilitate liquid circulation with near-silent acoustics. The substantial heat exchanger employs a parallel dual-pass design, optimizing cooling capacity and efficiency. A micro-skived copper cold plate complements this setup, ensuring efficient heat transfer and superior thermal performance to manage modern CPUs effectively.

Accompanying the THICC Q60 are two 32 mm THICC FP12 fans equipped with fiberglass-reinforced Liquid Crystal Polymer blades, delivering exceptional rigidity, durability, and aerodynamics. These fans offer a dynamically adjustable fan speed range of 0 to 3,000 RPM, generating a formidable 105.8 CFM airflow and 8.14 mm-H2O static pressure. The THICC Q60 also includes a zero RPM fan mode, allowing the THICC FP12 fans to stop completely for silent operation during light workloads. The fans connect to each other and the THICC Q60 through a Nexus Link Type-M channel.

Customization options for the THICC Q60 are facilitated by HYTE’s Nexus software. This software enables the polling of various sensors to fine-tune pump and fan curves, offers multiple saved profiles, provides real-time hardware performance, temperature, and usage statistics, visualizes the connected sequential node network, and monitors AmpScale health, among other features. The THICC Q60 is an integral part of HYTE’s Nexus Link Ecosystem, supporting the sequential connection of up to 18 devices on a single channel and up to 34 devices across both channels, through 1x Nexus Link Type-C and 1x Nexus Link Type-M ports.

The THICC Q60 is currently available for purchase on HYTE.com within the United States and Canada, with a starting MSRP of $299.99 USD. Global availability is anticipated in the first quarter of 2024.
