GATE 2025 Exam Schedule: The Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Roorkee has released the GATE Exam Date. Accordingly, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will be held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2024. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities.
GATE Registration Dates Awaited
As of now, the GATE registration dates have not been released. While the GATE 2025 information bulletin is still awaited. Once the registration portal is active, candidates will be allowed to submit the GATE application within the stipulated time. GATE 2025 will be a computer-based test (CBT). “GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on February 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th, 2025,” reads the official statement.
GATE Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or who have completed any government approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities are eligible to appear for GATE 2025.
Valid GATE score can be used for seeking admission to:
- Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities; and
- Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities, in the institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies.
GATE Registration: How to Fill IIT GATE Application Form?
- Visit the official website: Go to the official website of IIT GATE at https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in/.
- Look for the GATE Registration Link: On the homepage, look for the link that reads, “Applications.” Click on it.
- Register Yourself: Click on the ‘Apply Online’ option. Register yourself on the portal.
