DLF’s ‘The Camellias,’ in Gurugram, is setting new standards for luxury living in India. With apartments priced up to Rs. 100 crore, it has become a top choice for the country’s leading businessmen, CEOs, and wealthy individuals. Known for its stunning interiors and world-class facilities, the property impresses everyone who visits. When launched in 2014, the price was Rs. 22,500 per square foot. Today, it has soared to over Rs. 85,000 per square foot—a massive increase. Apartments that once cost Rs. 25-30 crore now sell for as much as Rs. 100 crore. Experts say the price gap between Delhi’s prime areas and Gurugram’s luxury locations is narrowing.

Recently, The Times of India featured a video by content creator Priyam Saraswat, offering a look inside The Camellias. The video showed the home of an architect from Gurugram, combining luxury with simplicity. Titled “A Minimalist Home in India’s Most Expensive Society,” it highlighted a home that balances simple design with sophistication—proving that luxury doesn’t always mean extravagance.

Traditionally, the priciest real estate in India has been located in the most affluent neighborhoods of Mumbai and Delhi, where property prices have soared past INR 100,000 per square foot. Currently, the highest-valued real estate project in India is the 360 West luxury development in Mumbai’s Worli, developed by Oberoi Realty. However, reports suggest that the sales value of DLF The Dahlias is expected to rival the combined sales value of three of the country’s most luxurious projects: 360 West by Oberoi Realty in Mumbai, DLF Camellias in Gurugram, and Naman Xana in Mumbai.

A fusion of simplicity and luxury

The interior of the showcased home is simple yet sophisticated, with the use of classy and unique furnishings. Light colors, potted plants, and expansive open spaces enhance its charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The name “The Camellias” is inspired by a beautiful plant found in Asia. Like DLF’s iconic projects “The Aralias” and “The Magnolias,” this project has set a new standard for ultra-luxury living in the Delhi-NCR region.

72-foot glass balcony

This apartment is divided into two sections—one public, meant for welcoming guests, and the other private, which includes the bedrooms. The most spectacular feature of this home is its 72-foot-long glass balcony, designed as the centerpiece for entertainment. The balcony includes a dining area, a formal living space, and a cozy corner for family gatherings. From here, one can enjoy views of the swimming pool and lush greenery.

DLF’s ‘The Dhalias’

According to media reports, DLF is preparing to launch ‘DLF The Dhalias,’ which will be the most expensive real estate project in India’s history. Located on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road, this ultra-luxury project will feature 400 residential units with prices starting at Rs 80,000 per square foot. On average, the price of an apartment will be around Rs. 100 crore. The total potential sales value of the project is estimated at Rs. 34,000 crore, which is 2.5 times the value of ‘The Camellias.’

Spanning 17 acres, the project will be divided into 29 tower blocks, offering residential spaces ranging from 9,500 to 16,000 square feet. It aims to set new standards in luxury living and attract high-net-worth individuals. In comparison, ‘The Camellias’ was launched a decade ago at Rs. 22,500 per square foot and has recently reached prices between Rs. 65,000 and Rs. 85,000 per square foot.

The ‘Dhalias’ will also include a 200,000 square foot grand clubhouse, much larger than the one at ‘The Camellias,’ further enhancing its appeal in the luxury market.
