There’s nothing more boring than an awards show that goes exactly according to plan, and while that was more or less the case at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards (except, perhaps, for the not-so-great opening monologue), the night still managed to feel exciting and downright sexy thanks to the participation of a few very pro-PDA celebrities.
I love public displays of affection, especially when extremely famous people are engaging in them. Sure, naysayers may claim that virtually all celeb-on-celeb contact is pre-choreographed by a bevy of publicists, but I, for one, truly believe that sometimes the Hollywood glitterati just get tipsy and forget they’re being watched. (Stars: They’re just like us! They make out in public!) Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, always a reliable source for high school–style red-carpet make-outs that still manage to maintain a touch of class, were in their usual fine form at the Globes. Now that’s my homecoming king and queen!

The newly minted mega-couple of Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were no slouches in the PDA department themselves on Sunday night, with the award-show camera catching them exchanging more than a few kisses.
