In an interview with Pinkvilla, Karan revealed that he is not confirming it, nor is he denying it as he is superstitious about certain things. He said that he would speak about it when the time is right.
The filmmaker expressed that he has the deepest respect for Salman and his entire family. He added that his father was very close to Salim Saab (Salim Khan). The fact that Salman said yes to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai has never left my heart. Karan shared that at this moment, the relationship will hopefully find celluloid space very soon.
Speaking of Salman Khan’s character in the film, Karan revealed that a lot of actors had said no to the part. And then, he met Salman at Chunky Panday’s party. Karan shared that Salman came to him and told him that only an absolutely confident person would do this film, and he is that person. The filmmaker further added that Salman likes his energy and agreed to do the film.
