Even though Jeremy Strong is a very different man to the one he played in HBO’s Succession, he’s maybe partial to some of Kendall Roy’s go-to labels. At the Met Gala 2024, the American actor arrived with his wife, Emma Wall, wearing one a Roy special: Loro Piana. But while The Eldest Boy™ only invested in its incognito-ready caps and hoodies, Strong is more about that fine suit life.
A bespoke creation for the Emmy Award winner, the two-piece came in a clean cream hue, and and it was decorated with a bunch of flowers that crept along the left lapel. Rather than just going for bow tie or even just a regular tie, his neck was decorated with another flower, which perfectly stuck to this year’s Met Gala theme. Down below, Strong jumped into some matching trousers, and he slipped on some black leather loafers that were also courtesy of the Italian hyper-luxury label.

But while his suit has everything it takes to be one of the sickest Met Gala fits in history, it wasn’t the only thing that got us all gassed up. It wasn’t even his sweet new ‘stache or his diamond earring. In fact, it was the watch that he had strapped to his wrist. While Logan Roy’s heir apparent liked the Richard Mille RM 67-01 (a kettle that he wore frequently in season four), Strong likes the Richard Mille RM UP-01 instead. Measuring at 1.75mm thick, it was, for a time, the thinnest watch in the entire world.
And when you’re going to the Met Gala, of course you’re going to have your grails in tow. And with only 150 pieces ever made, Jeremy Strong’s RM UP-01 is probably the first (and last) time you’ll ever see one in the wild.
