Jigsaw on Tuesday launches a collaboration collection with luxury label Roksanda, with Jigsaw Creative Director Jo Sykes and Roksanda Ilinčić having created a limited edition 29-piece capsule.
It draws inspiration from abstract expressionism and “has been crafted as a celebration of women”.
Sykes said that the customers of the two brands both “share a love of bold shape and colour, so the partnership felt like a natural fit”.
So what have the two come up with?
They say it blends “a mastery of craft with a love of art” and takes in Roksanda’s “signature architectural forms, distinctive cuts and clever use of colour” as well as “a contemporary take on Jigsaw’s heritage tailoring, playful approach to print and considered design aesthetic”.
As mentioned, it’s a limited edition offer with as few as 10 made for some pieces.
There are “fluid silhouettes, sculptural sleeves and bold cuts” as well as “showstopping prints in a vibrant colour palette of fuchsia, lapis blue, midnight, marigold, and teal – set against classic neutrals of camel, khaki and forest green”.
Finishing details include ruching, exaggerated fringing and plissé to “bring a textural element to the designs”. Meanwhile organic teardrops and hammered finishes “offer a modern take on jewellery classics, all made with the 24ct gold plating of the finest 7-micron quality”.
It will be available at jigsaw-online.com and in selected Jigsaw stores from 31 October.
