Rogan, 57, made the announcement after an episode of his podcast that featured tech billionaire Elon Musk, a prominent Trump supporter, on Monday.

“The great and powerful @elonmusk. If it wasn’t for him we’d be f***ed. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way,” Rogan tweeted on X. “For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump. Enjoy the podcast.”

During a rally in Pittsburgh, Trump called Rogan’s endorsement “the biggest there is.”

“Somebody said the biggest beyond anybody in a long time,” Trump said.

Thank you for your endorsement, Joe Rogan — A great honour!” Trump later wrote on X.

Earlier this year, Rogan threw his support behind Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who made a bid to become America’s 47th president by running as an independent. He told listeners on his popular podcast that Kennedy was “the only one that makes sense to me.”

Rogan’s comments drew the ire of Trump, with the former president taking to his Truth Social platform to denounce the internet personality. “It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring,” Trump wrote on his social media site in August.

Back in 2022, Rogan said he was “not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form.” During the 2020 presidential campaign, the backed Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination.

But Rogan had a soft spot for Trump, fondly looking back on the Republican’s presidency on an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast last year.

“He was in all the rap songs, rappers would always talk about Trump. Everybody loved Trump,” Rogan said during a conversation with retired MMA star Dan Henderson. “He was like this wheeling, dealing, billionaire character that everybody enjoyed.”

“I felt like he did a decent job,” Henderson replied. “We were in a lot better spot then than now.”

“When you look at his regulations, it certainly helped the economy,” Rogan continued.

But Rogan said “a lot of s*** happened” that derailed Trump’s presidency.

“COVID … the world. The world scares the s*** out of me right now,” he said. “Right now, I’m like, ‘Boy, this is not good’ … Everything scares the s*** out of me.”

Earlier this year, Rogan  — who boasts 17.5 million subscribers on YouTube and 15.7 million on Spotify — lashed out at “corporate media,” accusing them of “deceptive” coverage following Trump’s warning of a “bloodbath” in the automotive industry.

“It’s actually important to highlight how not just inaccurate, but just how deceptive the media was in their depiction of what he said … they are taking this quote out of context and trying to say that there is going to be a civil war if he doesn’t get elected, which is not what he was talking about at all,” Rogan said in a clip shared to X that was viewed over one million times. “It’s so disturbing that they would, first of all, that they would think that they can get away with it in this day and age, with all of the scrutiny and with social media and with all the independent journalists that exist now, which is one of the more interesting things about the demise of corporate media.”

Last month, Trump recorded a three-hour-long interview with Rogan, directly reaching his vast audience and the podcaster himself.

During their conversation, they talked about everything from UFOs to life on Mars to U.S. foreign policy to eliminating the federal income tax.

“There’s no reason not to think that Mars and all these planets don’t have life,” Trump said about life on Mars. When Rogan pushed back, saying that there’s been no evidence of life exists on the Red Planet, Trump replied: “Well, maybe it’s life that we don’t know, but maybe it’s a different kind of life.”

Trump also said he gets asked about aliens regularly.

“I get that question as much as almost any question,” he said. “’Do you think that we have aliens coming?’”

In his conversation with Rogan on Monday, Musk warned that the “this is the last election if Trump doesn’t win … this is the last chance.”

Musk also raised questions around Harris’ celebrity supporters, including Jennifer Lopez.

It’s amazing how many people on the Diddy party list are supporting Kamala. Publicly, openly, all-in,” Rogan said, referring to the rap mogul who is facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

J.Lo was like his ex-girlfriend and now all of a sudden she’s warning people against Trump?” Musk replied. “How many people did she warn against Diddy? Oh, Zero? Maybe we shouldn’t trust her opinion.”

Rogan also tried to get Trump’s Democratic opponent Kamala Harris to make an appearance on his podcast, but her campaign team refused to travel to Austin, where he records his show.

“I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,” he wrote on X. “My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen.”
